Canaan Fir

The Canaan Fir is a beautiful, fragrant tree with rich green color and short, soft needles that hold up well throughout the season. Similar to Balsam and Fraser Firs, it has an attractive layered shape that’s perfect for displaying ornaments, with sturdy branches that can support light to medium-weight decorations.

Concolor Fir

The Concolor Fir, also known as the White Fir, has a stately, symmetrical shape and soft blue-green needles that sometimes take on a striking silvery-blue hue. Its longer needles give it a slightly coarser texture, while its fresh, citrus-like fragrance and excellent needle retention make it a beautiful choice for the holidays. With strong, well-spaced branches, it’s ideal for displaying light to medium-weight decorations.

Douglas Fir

A classic choice, the Douglas Fir is known for its dense, soft needles that range from light green to blue-green and give off a sweet fragrance when crushed. The needles radiate in all directions, creating a full, lush look. Its branches aren’t as stiff as some other varieties, making it best suited for light-weight ornaments, it remains one of the most popular Christmas tree options in the United States.

Fraser Fir

The Fraser Fir is one of America’s most popular Christmas trees, and for good reason. Its dark blue-green needles with silvery undersides have a pleasant fragrance, while stiff, upward-turning branches and excellent needle retention make it ideal for displaying medium-weight to heavier ornaments throughout the season.

White Pine

The White Pine is the largest pine in the United States, featuring long, soft, flexible bluish-green needles that are two to five inches in length. With excellent needle retention but minimal fragrance, it’s best decorated with lightweight ornaments, and simple white lights highlight its natural beauty. This tree also works well for wreaths, roping, and other greenery.

Blue Spruce

The Blue Spruce is a classic Christmas favorite, known for its strong evergreen fragrance and striking silver-blue needles that measure up to one inch long. Its sturdy branches offer excellent support for heavier ornaments and larger decorations. With a naturally symmetrical shape and vibrant color, it makes a stunning focal point for holiday displays indoors or out.

Norway Spruce

The Norway Spruce is a traditional Christmas tree with a perfect pyramid shape and dark green, glossy needles about half to one inch long. It has a strong, traditional fragrance, and while its needle retention is fair, its sturdy branches make it ideal for displaying medium-weight to heavier ornaments.

White Spruce

The White Spruce is a full, naturally shaped Christmas tree with short, stiff bluish-green needles about half to three-quarter inch long. It has excellent needle retention and foliage color, making it great for displaying light to medium-weight ornaments. While its fragrance is minimal, its attractive form and sturdy branches make it a reliable choice for the holidays.
